Last Month Parks Canada launched a clothing line that reflects on the land of the wilderness. The new collection. Parks Canada Original, is designed by Roger Edwards and is the second collection part of the National Merchandise Program.
The new collection features high-quality, classic, casual apparel that ultimately represents the spirit and legacy of Canada’s greatest natural treasures. The complete line is made for both men and women and launched in Canada in July exclusively at Hudson’s Bay. The classic silhouettes are paired with designs that are both stylish and relaxing made with the highest quality materials that make it last. The chic logo is influenced by the vintage ‘Original Beaver’ logo that was actually first used on Parks Canada signs in the 70s. This logo is both clean in it’s design and an overall great representation of Canadian culture.

Designer, Roger Edwards, brings over 40 years of experience to his role as Creative Director for Parks Original and is also a celebrated Toronto designer that began his career in premium men’s and women’s apparel before launching Roger Edward Sport. Roger Edward was also formerly awarded Toronto Fashion Designer of the year and winner of a number of other awards. He has also worked alongside high-profile clients including NHL, CFL, NFL, NBA and Team Canada. Roger’s life passion for both Canada and outdoors have lead him to creating a collection that encompasses just that.
“Canadians are fiercely proud of their heritage, and Parks Canada Original provides them with an authentic, engaging way to champion that pride,” said Roger Edwards, Creative Director of Parks Canada Original. “This land is your brand, Canada. Forty million years in the making, and it’s never been more in fashion.”
